It's all about Fashion!

Fashion Hats Grow In Popularity

In today’s fashion conscious world your clothes say as much about you as the actual words that you use. Therefore the accessories that you choose to complement any outfit are absolutely essential to truly reflect your personality.

This fashion awareness extends to men, women and children and today a fashion hat has become an integral part of any outfit. Designer hats in particular by brands such as Bugatti, Bruno Banani and Wegener have become highly desirable.

The trapper hat, which once was confined to Lumberjacks, Russian Soldiers and Eskimos has become a fashion icon of our times. With a huge choice of hats ranging from traditional fur-lined to through to the brightly coloured version with pom-poms and tassels, the trapper hat will never be seen in quite the same way again.

Beanie hats, which were once confined to ski slopes and football supports are now ‘de rigeur’ for any fashion conscious young person. Bugatti and Bruno Banani are both German brands but this phenomenon is not confined to the Western world as teens from all over the globe positively embrace this new trend in the fashion world.

High profile superstars and A-listers help of course and when such luminaries David Beckham, Jennifer Lopez (J-Lo) and Madonna to name just a few, are seen wearing these new fashion accessories their fans will eventually follow suit.

It’s not just golfers who wear baseball caps nowadays either. Rappers like Eminem, Kanye West and Snoop Dogg have all made the peaked cap the must have accessory for the youth of today. This is a trend dating back to the 70’s and the rise of the Sugarhill Gang and their classic Rapper’s Delight.

However the growth of fashion hats is not just about the teen market. The Fedora and the Trilby Hat are also enjoying something of a renaissance. The Fedora has been around for over a hundred years and whilst Baseball Caps, Trapper Hats and Beanie hats have all evolved to reflect today’s fashion, the Fedora still retains exactly the same classic style and shape as it always has.

The Trilby Hat too goes from strength to strength but again looking just the same as it has always done. Crooners like Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra brought the hat to the public psyche and Sean Conner, as James Bond, continued to raise its profile. Today many pop stars, male and female can often be found wearing this classic item of fashion.

There is even a ‘Trilby Hat Tour’ that golfers all over the world can join provided of course that they embrace this most stylish of accessories.

A place for everything

A closet needs a system in order to function properly and stay organized. Your system can be as complicated or as simple as you like but the common factor in all closet organization is having a place for everything. Once this is accomplished, the next step to master is to put everything in its place. This has to be done consistently to make your system work which will take time, practice and a little self-discipline.

For instance if the bottom of your closet is a sea of unmatched shoes and you have to conduct a scavenger hunt to find a matching pair – you need to find a home for every pair of shoes you own. This will probably mean investing in a shoe tree or a similar organizational helper. Before you buy, do some research – find out what is available in your price range and where you can find it. Make sure that there is enough room for your entire shoe collection and be forward thinking – leave room for future growth. If you don’t do this you will end up in the same situation as before but with less money in your wallet.

After you have found a home for all of your clothes (or shoes) take the time (each and every time) to put them back in their new spot. But don’t stop at just your shoes! Keep going, pick the next problem spot in your closet, you will know what it is by the level of frustration you experience as you try to find something. It could be belts, ties, workout clothes, socks, whatever it is –find a home for your items, put them there every time and soon it will become second nature and you will never have to conduct a search in your closet again.
